Let's promote LOVE not violence!

My name is Big Daddy House. I am a DJ from the Near North Side of Chicago (better known as the Cabrini-Green Projects).  As a former resident of the Infamous projects I know first hand the pain of violence, hopelessness and loss. I also know what it feels like  when someone shows that they care about you. That is why, in light of the recent outbreak of violence, I wanted to expand the mission and purpose of my yearly LOVEFEST celebration. I want to open up the festival to all that want to promote PEACE & UNITY. I envision every color, creed, religion and sex from every walk of life under one banner of LOVE.

You may be asking yourself what is LOVEFEST. LOVEFEST is the celebration of every flavor of House Music known to man. It accentuates the Love of the culture and the people that enjoy it. Some say it is the ultimate gathering of Peace. Others say it the pinnacle of free expression. We just call it an indulgence of LOVE set to music (aka LOVEFEST). 

With your help I would LOVE to keep this an free event. In the past I alone fully financed this venture. This year I am finding it a little more difficult meeting the monetary goals for LOVEFEST 2017. 

The idea of seeing familys enjoying a day of Peace, Love, Unity & Music would be so wonderful. I would be so thankful to all that contributed to making my vision a reality. Your contributions will go to fund the following: Staging, Lighting, Signage,Sound, Tents, Insurance, Permit and Food.

I have already secured the talent for the event.
