Love for Woodbine Fire Victims

On Tuesday, June 19th Karen and Dan, our close friends and neighbours lost their home and everything in it to a massive house fire. The two neighbouring houses were also severely damaged by the blaze.
Within minutes of the smoke being noticed, the house was completely engulfed in flames. The fire totally destroyed the homes and all the contents.
Thankfully everyone from all three houses were able to make it out safely before it was too late.
Being true Calgarians, Karen and Dan and their two sons are taking everything in stride. Thankful that they have each other, they are preparing to sift through the ashes and start the long process of overcoming the devastating loss. The neighbouring households are doing the same.
** UPDATE** One of the homeowners who was affected by the fire has expressed their wish to NOT be involved in this fundraising campaign. To respect their wishes, the funds raised will go to the other 2 households.
Let's all pitch in and help these wonderful families out during their time of crisis. Albertans are known for our willingness to lend a hand and help eachother out - let's make sure these Albertan families get the support they need!
We are hoping to raise $10,000 for the homeowners affected to help cover their day to day expenses as they rebuild their lives and to replace some of the items lost that insurance won't cover.
