Love for the Fork Family

Our dear friend and the beloved first grade aide at Chrysalis Charter School, Courtnay Fork, is undergoing treatment for a severe medical condition. She started off the school year in high spirits but her health declined surprisingly quick. At this point, she is urgently awaiting a liver transplant at a hospital in San Francisco.

Courtnay is the single mother of four beautiful children. Three attend Chrysalis Charter School and the fourth is in high school. A team of family members, best friends, and school staff are helping Courtnay in whatever ways we can, but we need your help.

While the family has some savings, the impact of this is far reaching. Following what we hope will be a successful liver transplant, Courtnay will need to remain in San Francisco for a minimum of 3-4 months. Most likely, she will be unable to return to work for a year or more. The money raised through this campaign will be used to pay for medical bills, expenses for her caregivers and children to visit her, and care for the children (meals, clothing, etc.).
