Love for Cody TenBoer

The love and support from our friends and family has been overwhelming, and it is so greatly appreciated. ❤❤
As most of you know our Father has been in an terrible accident. For those of you who don't know.....
On December 19th, 2016 our father was going out to his vehicle to go the store and ended up accidentally locking himself out of his house. Our dad was out in -20 degree weather without decent winter clothing for 30 minutes trying to break back into his house and subdued frostbite on both of his hands and his big toe.
He was admitted to the ER....
And after....to a wound clinic to have his hands re bandaged and cared for. Our grandmother(bless her heart) and our dad set out to seek a surgeon in Casper who could help mend his hands but in the midst of it all he came down with fevers and infections so he was admitted to Hot Springs County memorial Hospital... Where he was cared for a few days before having to be lifeflighted to Salt Lake City, Utah....
The hospital down there discovered our dad had a stroke prior to being life flighted down there, that went unoticed.
He was/is paralyzed on his left side and had trouble speaking (slurring)
And had to have a feeding tube and catheter put into him.
Now the frostbite and infections didn't cause our dad to have the stroke but instead he has a pre existing disease called Fabry's Disease. It's so rare that most of the hospitals in Wyoming don't even know how to treat it.
This and pain meds inevitably caused his stroke.
He is now out of the ICU and into his own rehabilitation room, recovering slowly. They haven't set up a date for an operation to remove his fingers and fingertips yet because they want to wait for the bacteria to rid away and see if any more of his fingers will heal.
The doctors say he won't be able to leave the hospital for at least 6 more weeks and when he comes home he will have to undergo rehab and potentially be moved into assisted living.
Our family and I have had to move him out of his house and try to sell his car and his things. Which is all replaceble... But between the trips to Utah and the medical expenses... Financially it is troubling as well.
I know that times can be tough for everyone but even just a small donation is a BIG help and more than greatly appreciated.
Thank you again to everyone who is praying, and thinking of us and sending love our way. Please continue to do so❤❤❤
We love you so,
The TenBoer family.
