Dear Friends, far and wide...
On Monday, October our dear friends Brian and Shigeo lost their beautiful home in Sonoma County alongside everything they own. It’s the kind of thing no one can be prepared for, and they need our help.
Brian wrote:
”Early Monday morning our home was lost with 69 others neighbors. 200 acres of forested rolling hills surrounded by vineyards like Tuscany. Heartbreaking.
Our home was an actualization of a life time of work and dreams for us. It was our forever after home and we were never moving ever again. Pretty special to us and our lives. We only moved in full time in March.
Ay 2:15 am I ran into the night with many of our neighbors. At 8:25 am I came back to a war zone to discover our sweet home was completely lost. It's still hard to fathom.”
We are asking for your financial support for Brian and Shigeo, so that they have the ability to decide the best path forward over the coming months. The expenses will be varied and many and hard to estimate, so thank you in advance for any support you can send. I know Brian and Shigeo are already so grateful for the outpouring of love and support.
