Louisiana's Wild Horses - Fort Polk

Donation protected

For over a 150 years, horses have roamed in what is now the Kisatchie National Forest in Louisiana, which is approximately 604,000 acres, in which the US Army at Fort Polk occupies approx 250,000 acres between to main areas.

Despite public outcry and ongoing litigation, the U.S. Army at Fort Polk is continuing to allow removals of Wild horses from the areas at Fort Polk.

We are raising funds for the purpose of rescuing Fort Polk Horses in holding.

Donations will be used for any of the following purposes: rescue, fostering, adoption, feed, hay, water, veterinary care or other equine care, resources, supplies or equipment, purchasing/leasing of facilities, shelter, land or equine transportation.

Here is a video of some of the fort polk horses that need help.
