Louisburg FCCLA

The Louisburg High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America(FCCLA) would like to ask individuals and businesses to serve as sponsors for our students who have qualified for Nationals in their STAR Event Competition (Students Taking Action with Recognition). Libby Storey and Makenna Allen both received Gold medals at the State Leadership Conference and will be representing LHS in Atlanta, GA at the National Leadership Conference. In addition to competing, these students will attend a leadership conference and breakout sessions where they will gain invaluable skills and an unforgettable experience.

Louisburg High School FCCLA is a strong leadership organization whose central focus is on family and community engagement. During this past year, our students have worked hard on a variety of community projects, including but not limited to, providing local daycare, visiting a local nursing home, fundraising events for local individuals and businesses, participation in the “Adopt-a-family” program, Salvation Army bell ringing, and fundraising for a Texas School in Crisis after Hurricane Harvey. 

The cost to attend the National FCCLA Conference is $1200.00/individual. Attending will be two students and two sponsors. We would like to ask for any financial support you may be willing to contribute.
