Lots of Love for Saran

Donation protected
2K by Monday. Join us in helping Saran get the medical treatment she needs here in Australia.

Just 3 weeks ago, I had a wild idea to bring Waew and Saran here to Australia to learn and grow by attending The Luminosity Youth Summit.  Little did we know that this trip would mean so much more.

Just days before leaving Cambodia, Saran found a lump in her breast. She had scans done immediately in Cambodia, but messaged me, worried about the diagnosis of a tumour, and the recommended treatment of an operation.

Thanks to the generosity of one of our local specialists here in Port Macquarie, Saran received a second opinion yesterday, and a biopsy was recommended to determine whether surgery is indeed necessary.

We have managed to secure necessary testing with same day results this coming Monday in Newcastle, but this means a change of flights and cost of treatment. We hope to raise 2K to cover the quoted medical bills and  change of flights, not including accommodation, meals and transfers (they're on us).

By joining together and chipping in a small amount, we can show Saran that she is surrounded by love, and lots of it. Every contribution and word of love counts!

P.S Incase you're interested in how the trip came about..

I first met good friends Saran and Waew last year through a purpose trip to Sunrise Village Cambodia with Project Gen Z.  I was blown away by both the girls' dedication and commitment to their studies, and their incredible generosity within their community. I felt confident that in sponsoring the girls to attend the Summit they would not only benefit personally, but spread a ripple effect of extended knowledge, networks and love back through their community.

Thanks to travel expert Kim Salter, we achieved the seemingly impossible and got visas and flights booked within a fortnight. We were all excited to make this wild idea a reality, and thrilled by the added bonus of surprising Project Gen Z founder Liz Volpe who spoke at the Summit, and long time supporter of Sunrise Village, Project Gen Z and friend of the girls, Andrew Morello.  We are all hoping the best for Saran and are keen to see her go back home to Cambodia confident in her health and excited to apply and share everything she has learned this week at the Luminosity Youth Summit!
