The Lost, the lonely, the forgotten

Donation protected
JJ's Helping Paws would like to start by thanking all our friends and followers. As you know our primary goal is spay and neuter as well as our TNR program.  That being said, being involved in rescue in a small community we often come across precious kitties who need medical attention.  By no fault of their own they get abandoned, neglected, forgotten and left for dead.  We have helped several very special cats this last year but it has taken a tole on our overall budget.

Precious Chance was dumped and left for dead out in Red Canyon.  He was young, inexperienced and ill.  If not for one of our volunteers finding him, he would not have survived.  He is the sweetest little boy and did not deserve the fate that was bestowed upon him by some uncaring person. He recovered but was left blind in one eye.

Boots is an amazing cat who had her person pass away and like so many cats was disgarded and forgotten by surviving family members.  She is declawed and was only ever an indoor cat.  She was tossed out to fend for herself.  She was being beat up daily and not getting enough to eat given the pecking order of the colony she was relying on.  She was sad, lonely and bewildered.  What we didnt know at the time was she also had a pretty serious mammory tumor.  We are currently caring for her medical needs.

Baby Bear was born in a filthy, hoarding situation.  Due to lack of nutrition and unhealthy living conditions, he was born with both back legs twisted around in the opposite position.  We nursed him back to health and with intense physical therapy, his little legs were moved back into position and strengthened as he grew. No surgery was necessary which was the overall goal but this took lots of medical care and committment on the part of his foster.

These are just three of our most recent rescues.  We have countless stories which would break your hearts and we do our best to help each precious cat who needs us.  We would appreciate any amount you can donate to enable us

to afford to help other cats who need us.  There is never a shortage of sad stories but always a shortage of funds to help as needed.

We thank each and every one of you in advance for your committment to our cause.  If you could please also share this with friends, famillies and coworkers it would really help.  You can always follow our stories on our Facebook page and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.  We are a 501c3 Rescue so anything donated is 100% tax deductible.

There is nothing like the moment of complete despair when we meet these abandoned and unjured cats except the overwhelming joy that follows when we save their lives, treat their injuries and restore their little souls.  Bless you for considering a donation to JJ's Helping Paws.
