Lost our home ~Stuck in parking lot
On November 8th, The town of paradise was met with a grim reality, that everyone must evacuate, and most have now completely lost their homes, belongings, or worse.
~ Overview
For our family, we left quick. However, like most, so much was lost, we have no home, no jobs to speak of, little to no safety. Shelters have been attempted, and failed. Our animals struggle in this environment, including shelters, and are part of our family we can't afford to lose.
~ "What has happened to your family?"
Our family dog, Buddy Lee Larimer, was attacked by another dog in said shelters, his tail is injured and he struggles to wag it, and was bit down on the side of his face. The dog is surviving!, but professional help would brighten him up and secure his health.
As previously stated, we have no home. 3 people, 4 cats, A dog, and a turtle are all shoved into a breaking down van that holds all the belongings we have left. The cats would love to stretch out in a new home, just out of the van. The dog needs a place he can rest and heal im comfort. They are all scared, but we are giving the best care we can
~ "Why don't you go to family / friends?"
We dont have a way to get anywhere. If our vehicles breaks down, or gets stuck (high probability) all our animals, and our items, and lives are in danger. We can not afford doing that, as much we wish we could.
~ "Where does the money go?"
Any and all donations go to a new vehicle, vet payments, and a place to live.
