Donation protected

The March for Science Los Angeles is back and due to last year's popularity we are focusing on the rally and Science Expo! Help us make sure the speakers and presenters have the tools they need to make it a fantastic event! We aim to bring people together around science, point to concrete policy options and give people tools to explore science and support evidence-based policies throughout the year.

Saturday, April 14, 2018
10AM-11AM: The Science Rally!
9AM-4PM: Our Science Expo booths will be open and centered around celebrating science through science education, communication, policy, and outreach.
11:30 AM - 4 PM: Nerdist's Science Editor Kyle Hill will MC the expo stage, which will feature live interactive demos, science-inspired music, and include a series of focused sessions.

Rally speakers include Astrophysicist and Curator Dr. Laura Danly, Malik Ducard of YouTube, Dr. John Fleming of Center for Biological Diversity, Dr. Carlos G. Gutiérrez Professor of Chemistry at Cal State LA, Dr. Mona Patel of Children's Hospital LA, and Neurobiologist Dr. Tepring Piquado.

The March for Science Los Angeles is a project of the Los Angeles Alliance for Science and represents the partnership of the scientific community and the wider public. We stand in support of evidence-based policies and to show support for proper scientific research and funding. We stand peacefully opposed to the selective silencing, censorship, and defunding of research and evidence. In increasingly illiberal times, the one thing we can count on to protect our health, our environment, and indeed our very perception of what is true and false, is science.

LA Alliance for Science is a Project of Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs (SEE), a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your donation is tax deductable.
