I don't want to do this. I hate doing this. However I also know when to ask for help. Don't be afraid to ask. People can't help if they don't know you need it.
I have asked for help before, which makes it even harder to do again. So many friends and family have stepped up time and time again to offer assistance. I honestly don't know how we would have made it this far without them.
People have reached out to ask how they can help yet again. The generosity is overwhelming. I don't want to beat a dead horse or type a long laundry list of crap that has occurred since my cancer diagnosis in April 2013. Unfortunately my story is not a unique one. The sad reality is that this time my story does not have the strong shimmer of hope attached. I am truly in for the fight of my life.
The cancer has stepped up its game and parked itself in the lining of my brain. The prognosis is not good. My husband and I have both been out of work. If you could get a job solely based on desire and sheer goodness of your heart my husband would have 10 by now. Unfortunately the word "cancer" puts a bad taste in the mouth of potential employers. We are unsure what the future holds and for now we are living with my in-law's. It is difficult to have to worry about so many BIG things at once. It is overwhelming. Any money received would be put towards my continued treatment and also to alleviate a little stress as far daily expenses.
Please don’t feel obligated, but if you wouldn’t mind sharing the hell out of this campaign we would be forever grateful.
