Loretta's Alzheimer's Care

We are raising funds for my mother who has been diagnosed with dementia to relocate from Australia to Scotland, for medical treatment and care.
My Mum, Loretta Baxter has been a tireless servant. She has served her family, her friends, her country (being a government employee for 30+ years), her church and her Lord. She has been a constant support, encouragement and helper to anyone she has met. Everyone knows Loretta as a kind, gentle, encouraging woman. She has always been available to anyone who needed her.
Now she needs us, her family, friends and supporters to help her.
Loretta was diagnosed with early onset Dementia/Alzheimer's 5 years ago. She has steadily progressed downwards and struggled to do any of the things she used to love to do. The only things that bring her joy now is her family, cups of tea and Bob Marley.
We have been searching for the high care and support here in Australia for the past year and have been sadly disappointed. There has not been the support or care facilities available that would give my mother the quality of life she deserves.
We have however found some high care facilities and support services in Scotland that is far superior to anything offered in Australia.
Our last act of kindness for our mother is to get her over to Scotland, so she can be in a better environment and receive the support and care she so deserves. After a life of service to others, this is the least that we can do for her.

Obviously, my father will be going with my Mother to Scotland and so we will need to support him and cover his costs of moving. He is giving up his job, to care full time for Loretta.

Every little bit helps and every donation is greatly appreciated. Not only will you be contributing to Loretta's life you will be helping my father Malcolm move on with his life. Giving them the opportunity to enjoy the last years together in a supporting and caring environment.
We are planning on making the move at the end of September and so we are working on a deadline. We need to cover all costs of the move before then.
We need to move quickly before Loretta's condition deteriorates and she can no longer travel at all. We would appreciate your donations as quickly as possible.
After 34 years, filled with many adventures and traveling the world, doing new things together. They deserve to see this one out together also.
