Loren's Memorial

Update 11/2/18: You all are amazing! Thank you for your generosity! We far exceeded our initial goal, so we have ordered flowers and will make a $500 donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Loren's memory. The remaining funds will be put toward starting a new fund to support Ashley and Devyn as they begin to heal. Any new donations will be transferred to that fund when we get it set up (when they're ready to do that -- we want to give them a little time before adding things to their plate). 

Hi, everyone. As you've heard, we lost Loren Cantrell over the weekend. Services will be held Saturday. At my grandma's funeral in January, I was really touched that her high school class sent a flower arrangement -- even 60 years after they had graduated. I thought it was incredibly kind and caring. So I was thinking that even though some people are sending flowers individually, that we could still send an arrangement as a class, and then anything else raised above the arrangement cost can be donated to the Suicide Prevention organization mentioned in his obituary. If you'd like to donate, please do so by about noon mountain time (2:00 Eastern) Friday so I can make the arrangements Friday afternoon.
