After the worst eruption in more than 40 years, Guatemala needs international cooperation for the disaster victims. For those who live in Miami or South Florida, please copy this message on your mural.
Community Leaders of South Florida, employees from organizations, and organizers are joining forces to help victims from Guatemala. Over 1.7 million people were affected by this severe eruption. As of June 7, there are over 100 deaths confirmed. Nearly 200 people are still missing. Hundreds of people lost their home and schools were buried under in ash and flaming rocks.
We need you to donate here. Any contribution helps. Donations collected here will be delivered directly to confirm victims from this tragic disaster. Volunteers working in this initiative will NOT be compensated for their volunteering efforts. Every dollar you donate will be used to help victims.

For those of you who do not know me, here is a little bio:
One of my passions is helping people. Today, I feel a call to help Guatemala more than before. I worked for Miami Dade Public Schools, Miami Dade College and volunteer at local organization. Currently I work for a non-profit in Florida City. We will distribute these funds in accordance to needs between verified survivors and trusted local charities working with volcano-disaster-victims. We will make your money stretch as much as possible. If you only donate one dollar and ask ten friends or family members to do it as well, we will reach our goal very fast. Let's unite for our brothers and sisters in Guatemala and help them to alleviate some of their most critical necessities. Also, if you live in South Florida, reach out to congressman and senator and ask them how we can support our brothers and sisters in Guatemala.
