Lolit's battle with stage 4 cancer

Donation protected
About 6 weeks ago, in early March, 2017, my lovely wife, Lolit, noticed her lower abdomen was protruding, and as the days passed, it seemed to be growing a little each day. It concerned us both as it was hard to the touch, so we made an appointment with our PCP.  She was examined and they immediately ordered an ultrasound. With the results of that, they immediately ordered a CT Scan. Next they referred her to a specialist OB/GYN surgeon. It was at that appointment that we were told they thought it was an ovarian tumor the size of a grapefruit. The doctor also told us she was 95% sure it was malignant. This was all so overwhelming, it was alot to absorb. The doctor scheduled surgery for March 28th. We vowed to do whatever necessary to insure a successful outcome. The surgery lasted nearly 5 hours, after which the surgeon came out to tell me what she had found, she assured me she got it all, the tumor, the affected lymph nodes, and even a small spot on her colon, she performed a total hysterectomy, anything she say that looked bad, she took out. It was sent to lab for testing. Lolit was recovering in the hospital for 5 days, I was there daily to be at her side.  At her release, the doctor told us the results of the lab tests, the tumor had started in the colon and migrated to the ovary.  She referred us to an Oncologist. Lolit and I met with Dr. Meg, she was very informative, and she told us Lolit would need to do at least a  6 month round of chemo, after she had healed from the initial surgery. This past Monday, Lolit had an outpatient procedure to insert a port in her upper right chest, next is a petscan on the 28th, and then at 6 weeks past her surgery, she would start chemo. We both have a strong faith in God, which has gotten us this far, that along with the love and support of so many good friends, we know we will get through this.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      At the insistence of our close friends, we decided to start a campaign here to help us with the mounting medical costs.

We ask for any help anyone is willing to offer, be it donations or prayers, all is welcome.

We will use any and all funds generated here to help with Lolit's medical costs.

This situation is unfolding as I type these words, my wife is improving yet the future is uncertain, and any help towards reaching our goal of complete recovery is appreciated.

We will post updates to our campaign to let you all know what we are facing, and what we have achieved.
