#LoganStrong eSight Fundraiser

If you have been gracious enough to follow Logan's story, you know that he's an 11yo boy that is visually impaired. If you don't, then let me give you the quick version... Just over a year ago, blurry vision spells caused us to get Logan's eyes checked. His Ophthalmologist requested an MRI and low and behold, he had a Brain Tumor the size of a baseball on his brain. The pressure caused by the tumor has left him with optic nerve damage causing a blurred over visual field and spots missing. This has been hard for him and we have been on the hunt for something to give him hope. He is learning Braille and will continue with it as we want him to be as independent as possible. After 6 surgeries, 6 months of Chemotherapy and 33 Proton Therapy treatments, his vision has improved but not enough to be benefited by any glasses prescription.  With research and encouragement from his Ophthalmologist, we decided to do a consult with eSight. These glasses show a real time live stream right in front of his eyes. He enjoyed the consult and we decided to spend the $500 non refundable deposit to try them out in home for 2 weeks. After several Zoom meetings with an eSight specialist to teach him how to use them, he feels like he can benefit from them. Whether it's helpful for homework or just so he can zoom in on our faces, it seems so worth it. As hard as it is to put this decision in the hands of a child, we really have no choice. We would do anything to give him his best chance at life after all he has been through. That being said, at the urging of Family and Friends, I have decided to do another Go Fund Me campaign for those who have asked me to let them help.
