Logan’s Thumb Surgery

My boy was born with a right clubbed foot and an extra thumb on his left hand. Since he was about a month old, he went through physical therapy in Amarillo, had surgery on his clubbed foot in Lubbock and was put in a foot brace. Luckily, he was on medicaid for all this so they helped with the costs for transportation, doctor visits, and hotel and food for the night before his last surgery. Recently, he mistakenly got switched to CHIP due to a processor error. He will be put back on Medicaid on August 1st, but his surgery is set to remove his thumb on July 11th. We will not have to pay anything out of pocket for the surgery itself, but we are needing help for the gas, hotel and food while me and my 3 boys will be in Lubbock for the surgery. I’m currently not working and my husband just started a new job this week. If anyone can help please feel free to do so, but no worries if you can’t. Thank you in advance and God bless.
