Local healthy restaurant/grocery

Our community needs this business!

This is a quaint, affluent, family-oriented, health conscious (yet rural) area with many seasonal visitors and many NYC transplants.  There are few eateries (the ones that exist are always packed) and no affordable hotels. People frequently hold weddings in our community and spend getaway weekends because of the picturesque landscape

We are currently a one-income household with a blended family of 4 children ages 25-5.  Our bread winner spends 13+ hours each weekday out of the house working and commuting. There has to be a better way! 

My husband and I aspire to provide the community with a beautiful place to eat well without it tasting like grass or cardboard - both for adults and kids. The property would also provide a place for vacationers to stay and enjoy the same.  Including a safe space for kids to play, while adults enjoy some grown up time.  

There is a property on a nearby lake that is perfect to help us achieve all 3 business goals. This space is perfect to (1) provide a beautiful place for vacationers to stay, (2) serve delicious meals without the guilt for residents and vacationers alike, and (3) provide a family-friendly atmosphere, including but not limited to, age appropriate utensils, tables and activities.

However, we require the capital to buy and develop the space to suit our business endeavors. I will run the business, while my husband will be the chef using his creativity to develop naturally delectable meals and treats for kids and adults. We will also provide a venue for local artisans to sell their homemade goods; desserts, skin care, etc. 

We will always serve the most naturally healthy recipes with minimal sugar and no wheat products.  You'll always feel good about the food you're eating and never have to question the quality of the ingredients. 

In return for your contribution, you can be a shareholder if you choose to do so! Return depends on how great your contribution.

There is NO COMPETITION for the our business! Currently,  to buy natural alternatives or have a healthy meal served residents have to drive at least 20 minutes both ways. Even then, the facilities provide (at best) limited fresh meals and none provide an enviroment for families to enjoy a meal with their children with less stress- from danger, from bothering other guests.
