Support for Liz Dalton's Family

Pregnancy should be a time of joy in anticipation of the future, but for Liz Dalton the future is bleak. 

5 months into pregnancy, Liz discovered that she has stage 4 stomach cancer on multiple organs. While the future is unknowable, this news has made planning for the future impossible for Liz and her growing family.

In 2016, Liz and her best friend, Jennifer, both decided to undergo a medical procedure in order to have children. In 2017, Jennifer gave birth to a son, Josiah. Soon after Josiah was born, Liz discovered that she too was pregnant with a son. The excitement of raising two boys together was building.

Liz's first 4 months of pregnancy, while not easy, were relatively uneventful. She continued working and helping to take care of newborn Josiah. Several weeks ago, Liz was admitted to the hospital due to extreme dehydration and nausea. That was when the doctors discovered that she had cancer. In the past few weeks, Liz has received the most heartbreaking news that many of us could ever imagine receiving.

While it is impossible to know exactly what the future may hold, very soon, Liz will give birth to her son. In the small way of contributing to her household financially, we can help her have the best medical treatment and the most time with her son and family as possible.
