Liz Adams Medical
Thank you for all the prayers, meals and visits that have
been so powerful to our family.
Liz was diagnosed with MS in 2003 and was doing well until this past Fall 2016. Liz was walking independently in October, using a walker in November and into a wheelchair in December. This was all a result of a
major and multiple "Relapses" causing many lesions in the brain and spine.
Liz is currently at Trinity Care Center in Farmington, Mn
receiving nursing care, physical therapy and occupational therapy
We are in need of a wheelchair accessible Van. We have need for this transportation for Liz to participate in all the childrens school and church functions, Doctors appointments and also to go to family outings.
There will also be a need to purchase a wheelchair for Liz and medical expenses.
For direct donations, checks can be made out to
" Adams Family " and can be sent or dropped off at:
1. The First State Bank
3025 145th St West
Rosemount, Mn 55068
2. The Church of St. Joseph office
We so appreciate your contributions toward Liz's medical expenses!
Liz has moved from the Trinity Care Center to the
Bryant Cottage in Burnsville. It is a Group home with
4 residents. Each resident has their own bedroom
and lots of community space. On main floor, there is
a living room open to the dining area which is an
extension of the kitchen. There is a deck off the
dining area. Downstairs there is a huge great room
with a fully equipped kitchen and covered patio.
There is a wheelchair lift ( which transports Liz in
her chair with another person on the lift )so Liz has
availability to lower level at any time.
Liz has daily needs that this group home can offer
that Liz can't get at home
The house is open for visitors at any time.
Thanks for the continued support and blessings to
We appreciate all the support that we have received and are so blessed to have such caring
people watching over Liz and her Family.
Liz had a follow up Dr appointment ( 1 week after she finished her Aggressive MS Infusion treatment )
It was noted that Liz does have some improvement in her lower body strength compared to the
assessment that was done in Mid January. That is good news. LIz will continue her Occupational and
Physical Therapy every day.
There is some concern with the Meds that Liz is taking for her MS. Liz is having some
troubling side effects, so Dr. has ordered to cut back on some of the meds. so they can make a
clear diagnosis if the side effects are a result of the meds. This is a process that will take some
time, so Liz will be back to the Dr. in 1 month to evaluate the side effects (Hopefully they will
have lessened or gone away )
Though LIz has a long way to go, every step is a move
in the right direction
Everyone have a good week and blessing to all !!!
Liz finished her aggressive MS Treatment yesterday
and now we're hoping to see things settle and even
out so Liz can make progress with her therapy sessions.
Patty This sounds like a great move for Liz. I hope all goes well for her. So glad she has her own room. That is huge. I am sure the kids will visit her very often. Hugs and prayers, Angie
