Wheelchair van for Darius

This is my 2 yr old son Darius. Darius was born with a rare syndrome, Pallister Killian Syndrome. Darius is severely globally delayed, he has myclonic epilepsy, meseocardia, low muscle tone, visual and hearing impairments. 2016 was the worst year for my little guy. 2 surgeries and 5 illness landing him in ICU each time.
Darius lost his ability to orally feed after his cleft palete repair and is now gtube fed. This guy has been trough so much in his short life then most will ever experience in a lifetime.
I'm trying to fund a wheelchair accessible van for my little guy.  As he's getting older he's also getting heavier!  Getting him into his car seat is getting harder, with his low muscle tone, he is dead weight and my back is beginning to ache.

Also, with all the appointments my little guy has the van will allow for greater freedom and independence.

While many people may argue driving a minivan isn’t the “coolest” thing you can do, sometimes other things are more important than image. A mobility van may not always be sporty, fun or stylish, but it offers maximum freedom and independence. Actually getting where you need to go without too much assistance or a physical struggle is more important than how you are able to do it.

Just think about how many times you use your vehicle, I have to lift a 50lb wheelchair out of the trunk, then a 35 lb kid.  It seems to get harder and harder everyday, I'm aging too.  

Although we are applying for funding and using our current van as a trade in, there will still be a substantial amount left to pay.   

Any support from family and friends are greatly appreciated.  This is probably the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
