Little Bodhi Needs Surgery
Spende geschützt
Bodhi is my little 11 month old Aussie. He is the light of my life and I have never loved anything more than I love him. He had been limping on his left hind leg for about a week so I took him to see the vet. We had X-rays done and the news was not good. It turns out Bodhi has necrosis of the femoral head. The hip is a "ball and socket" joint. The femoral head is the "ball" part of the joint and if it develops necrosis or dies, it can no longer function properly. Necrosis is due to loss of the blood supply to the femoral head or "ball, which may be the result of a growth abnormality. It is a hereditary condition of small breed young dogs. The treatment of choice is femoral head and neck ostectomy or removal of the femoral head and neck. The surgery is estimated to be $2,065. I usually would never use social media platforms as a means to financial assistance, but when it comes to my pup pup I am literally willing to do anything. Any sort of donation is 110% appreciated by Ed and I, we just want our little babe to be happy and healthy again.
Thank you all so much.
