Unfortunately my mum (Debbie) has been going through some hardships this year being told for almost 6 months that she has a persistent UTI after multiple courses of antibiotics and other abnormal symptoms we started to demand more tests, unfortunately those tests showed an aggressive form of bladder cancer.
Due to Mum already having radiation and chemo therapy from having breast cancer just over 20 years ago repeating that treatment on the body is risky and potentially ineffective. Removing the bladder is her only option.
Surgery is booked for the end of this month, private health is only covering $2000 leaving us $8000 out of pocket
Mum has become more concerned about the money then her own health at this point, besides physically being there for Mum I don’t know how else to help besides raise a bit of money. I’ve picked up more shifts at my 3 jobs working 6-7 days a week
Mum being in so much pain has been unable to work for the past 6 months and money unfortunately now is an issue in our family
