Scholarship Fund

The Lindsa Foundation is a registered NGO  whose mission is to empower and uplift the youth of Jamaica through the vehicle of education at the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Level  more specifically the parishes of Kingston, St Andrew, St. Thomas an Portland. Established in October 2016, the sole purpose of this organization is to provide financial assistance and aid in the procurement of school supplies for students. This entity is committed to its role in the sustainable development of the country and hopes to play its part by providing a more inclusive educational experience to the aforementioned parties. We believe that our children are the future and though they have no control over their social standing, education can be used as a vehicle to transcend social hierarchy, thus enabling them to lead better lives than us. The money raised will help to relieve some of the financial burden currently borne by parents. Donations will be used to acquire school supplies such as: books, uniforms, writing implements and bags. Monetary assistance in the form of grants will also be provided to help allay day to day expenses. It is a fulfilling experience to help others as in helping others, we also help ourselves.  It is our wish to create a cycle of gifting so that future generations may also give back to their communities to foster the development of upcoming youth.  We hope to raise one million dollars ($1,000,000) by the end of August for the 2017/2018 school term to help Secondary and tertiary level students with grants and bursary.  Because of our undying passion for youth we ask for your commitment in providing moral and financial support to our children.
