Linda's Funeral Expenses

Hi, I'd like to introduce myself. I am Diana's friend, Dawn. My husband, Jesse and I have known Diana and her family for approximately 8 years, during which time we have laughed together, had fun together, shared sorrows together, to name a few. Her parents were always jovial people, but we know that Linda had health issues, which insurance companies took as a rather higher risk...therefore making the premiums almost unbearable for a retired couple. Approximately a year ago, they were able to find an insurance company who would take on Linda's life insurance for a reasonable rate; however, the family recently discovered that the premiums had to paid over a three-year period in order for the beneficiary to receive the insurance, which sadly did not happen. Diana's father, Ken, has life insurance, but it doesn't cover Linda.
Now to today......Yesterday near 3 a.m., Linda lost her battle to fight for her life. After treatments in Sudbury, the last of which was more than she could bear, so she asked Ken to take her home......they spent their final hours together....quietly loving eachother....saddened to face what they were facing. Gone is a loving soulmate to her husband, Ken; idol and love to the moon and back to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
The 3 years of mandatory premium payments for Linda's life insurance didn't realize; therefore, they will receive nothing to cover the cost of her death.
As many have been so generous to the Jeffels family, it is my prayer that more would reach out and help them to cover the cost of the funeral expenses, and yet still expenses from their medical travels. Diana gave all she could financially under a year ago to put her brother to rest. There is no more to give. Please, I am praying that your heart, your soul and your love for this family will help them through this very difficult, emotional and financially tough time. May God bless the Jeffels family as they grieve the loss of a very endearing woman, and may you all find it in your hearts to give.....anything at all will help them immensely! God Bless, Dawn
