Linda Belan Towell's Funeral Expenses

Hello everyone, this is Caitlin Towell, Linda Belan Towell's daughter. My Uncle and I have decided to set up this GoFundMe page in order to be able to give my mom the funeral she wanted. Oddly, she had recently created a will and had started the process of setting up a funeral fund and getting her affairs in order after she died, but she never quite finished and did not deposit any money into the funeral fund. So in lieu of that, according to the funeral director who has been a close friend of my moms for over 15 years, estimates that the funeral she had stated she wanted would cost about $7,000 dollars. My mother has recently filed for bankruptcy, and neither me or Michael (her brother, and only other relative besides me) have any money at all to fund these expenses. So if you can help me out in any way with covering all of these expenses, I humbly ask you for help, if you are in any kind of position to do so. If you knew anything about my mom, you know how religious and faithful she is to God, and many of these things she wants to include in her funeral are related to what she thinks she needs to go in order to get to heaven, so I know she would absolutely love it if we could honor her wishes. My mother was VERY specific as to how to wanted everything to play out after she passes, but we simply just don't have the funds to make it happen. With all of that being said, if you knew my mom at all then you knew what a kind, beautiful, and generous person she was and what a big heart she had- she would literally take the shirt off her back for someone in need. My mother was the most wonderful person with the most gentle, honest, and pure soul, and I know she deserves to be remembered and have the things she wanted to be put in place for her death; no one is more worthy or deserving of a beautiful ceremony. I know that my mom is with my dad now, which is all she ever wanted, so as heartbreaking  as it is for me and everyone else, I know that she is finally happy, at peace, and with my dad. All she wanted was to be with him- each and every day was a painful struggle without him for her, so I hope it brings you some peace that she is finally free and at ease. Our goal at the moment is to get these donations in within the next few days before the coroner releases the body, so we can immediately proceed with the funeral and burial. I know my mom couldn't or didn't realize just how many people that she really had out there, so I'm hoping that together as a team we can get this done swiftly and seamlessly.
