Lincoln the Puppy
Donation protected
Lincoln was found as a stray in San Antonio, Texas. He was in very bad condition, with demoted mange, worms, fleas, and severely malnourished. A veterinarian took him in, and treated is medical issues. Since then, Lincoln has been improving steadily each day--gaining weight and his skin issues are all resolved. He is a very sweet, playful puppy that loves to cuddle.
Lincoln's problem is that he walks funny. He has a very odd gait that veterinarians are working to figure out. This could possibly be due to malnutrition and neglect, but it could also be a more rare neuromuscular disorder. He's currently undergoing testing.
He is a very sweet pup that deserves a new start with a permanent family, but the rescue needs to figure out what is wrong with him before being adopted out. If you are able, please consider donating to help with his veterinary bills and tests. Lincoln has a great team working to figure out the problem, and any financial assistance would be much appreciated! The donations for Lincoln's care go directly to the German Shepherd Rescue of Central Texas, a non-profit organization.
