Medical expenses for Lily White

Donation protected
Tuesday June 7, 2016 my 11 year old Maltese Lily suddenly couldn't see and her left eye filled with blood. We immediately rushed her to the Emergency animal clinic. The vet found she was bleeding in her eye, ear and mouth. She was diagnosed with idiopathic immune mediated thrombocytopenia. This means her body is destroying the platelets her body produces. She also has low red blood cell count which means she's anemic. They said she had to be hospitalized and if she wasn't she probably wouldn't make it through the night and bleed out.
So what all this means:
Lily has to be hospitalized for 3-5 days. She is receiving steroids to suppress her immune system. She has received a blood transfusion and might need another. Once her platelets are stable she can come home but she will need lifelong steroids.
So far we have paid a $3,952 deposit for the 48 hour estimate they gave us. If she has to stay 3-5 days it will be a minimum of $7,900.
The vet has assured me that she will get through this, so my family and I feel this is all worth it, but we need some help.

I have had lily since I was 14 years old. She is my baby and my best friend.
Any amount will be a huge help and will be appreciated by all of Lilys animal and human family and friends.
