Dear Friends and Family,
Some of you know I have been selected and given the privilege due to my grades and achievements to study abroad in Lisbon, Portugal over the upcoming summer. During my time in Lisbon I will be studying marine biology for three weeks, some of my time will be spent in the field, some in the lab, and some will be spent in a classroom learning more about the Portuguese culture and language.
As part of the application process I was awarded a scholarship that covers 50% of the tuition costs. Now begins the fundraising process, over the coming months it’s my goal to raise $3,000. Sponsorship’s in any amount would be greatly appreciated. You will be able to follow my adventures through my instagram at lily_in_portugal, I will be posting pictures and reflections for friends and family to follow my experiences daily.
