Lily's Electrolysis Fund

Hey y'all my name's Lily and Im an indigenous trans butch living and loving in Philadelphia. Every week I work around 50 hours just to pay bills, however this is still not enough for me to save money for electrolysis. Electrolysis is an expensive procedure that will remove my facial hair and involves a number of sessions over a period of months. I need about 12 sessions due to the denseness of my facial hair which is around $1,000. It is extremely defeating to know that even working to my body's fullest extent I can not afford even one session let alone twelve. I have pushed myself to work more hours though it left me ill and unable to work forcing me to spend the little money I could save. It is overwhelmingly tiring to worry about passing as a trans woman and it is cruical to my safety in most environments. Helping me further my transtion directly contributes to my safety and my ability to defeat my dysphoria. My dysphoria has evolved over the years from people telling me that the gender that I am is not valid. It has caused my depression and anxiety to develop to the point where I often cannot function. I have been on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for a year now and although it has lightened my dysphoria, it has not fully removed it's power over my life.
