Lily Belle's Spinal Surgery and Recovery

On Tuesday, December 11, our baby, Lily Belle, began showing signs of discomfort. After a visit to the vet, she was put on anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxers. She was showing signs of improvement, but then took a huge step backward. By the following Tuesday, her back end was paralyzed, she couldn't hold any weight on her back legs, and she had lost almost 100% of feeling in her hindquarters.
Fearing a life-threatening condition, we took her to the emergency vet. The doctors told us that there would be a 90% chance that she would walk again if we did surgery that night. However, that surgery would cost $9000.
Obviously, Lily Belle is our baby, and at only 4 years old, there was no way we could abandon her. We had to take out a new line of credit to pay for the surgery, in hopes that the surgery would be successful.
The road to recovery is going to be extensive. Doctors say that if the surgery was successful, it will take at least 3 months to be able to fully walk again. We are so very grateful for your support. Please help us get to our goal to pay for this life saving surgery.
