Lilu’s Journey with Elbow Dysplasia

Hi guys! My name is Lilu & I was born with elbow dysplasia. My mum rescued me from a breeder who chose me as ‘pick of the litter’ but after finding out I had elbow dysplasia, was going to euthanize me, at only 6months old! Mum knew I was going to cost a lot of money but saved me anyway.
A month after I arrived to my new home, mum had me in to get surgery for my elbow! Things were looking up, but after 6 months, we noticed I was limping as much as ever and on cold days or after playing with my besties, I was in pain.
The vet kept saying I’d improve over time but it’s now been over a year and there are no improvements. Winter this year has been tough on me and mum HATES seeing me in pain. She spends a lot of money on glucosamine & 4cyte that goes in my food every single day. It helps me with the pain but mum knows in the long term, more needs to be done.
She decided to find a new vet, one that was world renowned and knows a lot about my condition, he told her he could help us!! But it will cost a looot of money. That brings us here... we are starting by raising $1500 for a CT scan so we can see what’s going wrong in my silly elbow! And from there we will talk to surgeons and vets on more treatment.
please help me! I want to live a long, pain free life so that I can cuddle my mum and jump around with all my friends - I am only 2yrs old and mum won’t give up on me! as much as I need her, she needs me too.
