Lilley Correctional Facility Church

Donation protected
Rev. Sharon Capron, Assoc. Pastor of the United Methodist Church of Prague OK is raising money for a new Chapel for the John Lilley Correctional Facility in rural Boley, OK. The Old Chapel only holds 85.  Routinely prisoners are turned away because of Fire codes.
In addition to worship services, this facility is used extensively for many types of needs and volunteer classes of all kinds. Often competing for the same limited space. Area volunteers hold many types of educational courses that will equip the inmates to live productive lives once released from confinement.
The new Chapel will have a baptismal, 16 classrooms, two bathrooms, and will hold 200 inmates.
Church World Builders are donating all labor.  All money raised will be used exclusively on the materials for the 5,000 sq ft building.
If further information is needed, you can contact Chaplain Slim Crabtree, John Lilley Correctional Center, 105150 N. 3670 Rd., Boley, OK 74829
$400,000 has already been donated and an additional $100,000 is needed to begin building the New Chapel.
Each volunteer organization that uses the facilities have been asked to raise $5,000.  Rev. Capron conducts two sign language classes each week as well as conducts worship services twice monthly at the Prison chapel.
The excitement is pallpable in the possibilities this New Chapel will give to all the inmates and the volunteers.  Your donation will be used greatly for the Kingdom of Christ.  May God bless and keep you as you feel led to give.
