Hi all,
As some of you will know - I am on the committee for the Light Ball this year.
WHAT IS IT?
The Light Ball is a black tie charity event set up every 2 years in the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge. 800 people attend, and there are a wealth of activities - auctions, bands and live performances on the night.
WHATS IT ALL ABOUT?
The Light Ball donates all profits to Pieta House, an Irish Charity that provides free mental health counselling to people who cannot afford it
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO ME?
Mental Health is a massive issue in this country - particularly for men and women in my age group. Counselling services are expensive, and I'd like to help people less fortunate than I to get access to them and hopefully change their lives.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
I know October is around the corner, so this is late in day, but in the event you can't go (€110 a ticket, please ask if you can!) I'd love if I could raise the price of a table for the event in LinkedIn's name. All money will go directly to the registered charity and LinkedIn for Good will match whatever I raise up to my goal.
