Lifesaving Veterinary Care for Bruno

Our precious Bruno became critically ill within the past few days and is now fighting for his life. While away on vacation I received a call that Bruno wasn't acting himself and had to be taken to his local vet.
There he received IV fluids for dehydration and then the testing began. His condition starting to decline and he had to be rushed up to Cornell University hospital for animals, where he was admitted and is receiving IV fluid support for ( hydration and medications) and nutrition/calories through an NG tube. He hasn't been eating on his own. Bruno needed a blood transfusion do to his anemic and bleeding. His red blood cells are dangerously low. He has been getting ultrasounds to continue checking on all of his organs.
Bruno been in the ICU the past few days with on going treatment and this has taken a huge financial toll on me. So far the vet bill has exceed $7,000.00 and will continue to increase. No one should lose there treasured pet from not being able to afford a medical bill, but that's the harsh reality I am facing. If unable to raise money for our precious bruno we won't be able to continue to care for him.
Bruno is a sweet spirit who is very lovable to all. Once you meet him you wouldn't ever forget who Bruno was. He is our life and he means the world to us. He is my furbaby and keeps me going every day!
