Bambi's Hospital Veterinary Care Bill
Donation protected
Bambi is a 9 year old Hungarian Vizsla who lives with her non related siblings of 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Several weeks ago Bambi stopped eating complete meals and was only taking bites, started to throw up, and had severe diarrhea from the little bites she consumed.
My husband and I were concerned and brought her to our primary holistic vet. After two weeks of x-rays, exploratory surgery ( no blockage or cancer was found), rounds of medications and even had her come in over the weekend for 10 hours each day for IV support (hydration and medication) Bambi had not improved.
Our vet went above and beyond his call of duty. To no avail, there was nothing else he could do but refer her to Veterinary Specialty Center. We just are not sure what is wrong with her. Possible pancreatitis or GI disease.
Bambi is currently at the hospital. She is still fighting for her life. Bambi has a beautiful, sweet spirit and disposition and even as sick as she is she is still greeting her caretakers with little tail wags.
It is tough for us to ask for others to help financially but when it comes to our Bambi, we will do whatever we can to help her. If you can find it in your heart to help us afford her medical care and surgery, we would be extremely grateful. Any donation is appreciated and will make a difference. We will be posting updates as they became available.
Thank you for reading about and sharing our story.
They say it takes a village to raise a child and we believe the same holds true for our fur-babies. Thank you for being a part of that village.
