Ok, so alot of people are doing dry January or febuary, I have thought long and hard but for me that isn’t a challenge as I’m not the biggest of drinkers, so, what is it that I love the most..
BREAD !! And more bread.. fresher the bread the better .. warm bread, crusty bread.. with butter and cheese ..Extra bread at dinner! Hence the reason I’m not a size 8...
I asking for your support to sponsor me, I pledge to not let any bread pass my lips and be eaten for three whole months, which is nothing compared to what my beautiful friend will have to go through over the next year. That’s why I am doing this, so in September I found out one my amazing and closest friends had cancer.. I was in complete shock and I still am now, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and it has spread to her lymph glands and she has had to have a mastectomy and re construction in November and is now going under 6 months of chemotherapy and then will have to have further radiotherapy after that.
She has been very private about her situation, so not a lot of people know, she has two beautiful children and a strong husband and family, but I wanted to do something to show my support, I’ve done her hair for years, so I would like to be able to get her some wigs and eventually get her hair back to normal, I feel like this is my job to take a little pressure and worry off her. The money will be used towards great wigs and head wraps, and any money over will be donated straight to a Cancer charity.
