Lidia Orcsik, our dear Mother's life matters!
Our Mom is our everything as in our life we only have one Mother. She raised us as we were little children and has been there for us through our life and through difficult times. Our life experiences, our graduations, our first steps and special moments. She has also been an exceptional wife and a devoted Mother to her children.
As a nurse, she had always devoted her undivided attention and care to her patients. As this is what she loved to do best, to help others. To her friends for whom she has always given her time and care. Our Mom was known for always giving and never wanting to receive. Her heart was pure and she never failed to put others before her.
Unfortunately, in December, 2010. Our family got the worst news ever that no one would ever want to hear. Our Mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The diagnosis was unfortunatelly uncurable with Chemo, as it was Estrogen Sensitive Cancer and it would not have been responsive. So, our Mother to her best knowledge as a nurse and advice form her Naturalpath decided to do an Estrogen Detox Diet. At this point her Cancer seemed to diminish and she stayed on this strict regime, having a few beautiful years with our Family.
Unfortunatelly due to life stresses, her Father and other Siblings that had passed her Cancer had come back.
In the fall of 2016, the aggression of our Mothers Cancer came back very abruptly. Even, at this time our Mother fought with all her strength and will power to try to beat this Horrible disease.
Sadly, in December her Cancer progression started to take a turn for the worse. As one can imagine this hit our Mother very hard and her emotional status.
Mom came back up a bit again and than at the end of March her Hospital visits finally started.
One of the most difficult days, in our Lives as we stood there and were told of our Mothers condition.
Our Mom, since than has had numerous fluid extractions out of her abdomen. Blood transfusions, as the cancer has spread to her bones.
Her mobility is now restricted as her body is fully swollen, due to kidney and liver disfunction.
She is now having to be at home in our Care, unable to work as of last Fall. From the time of her diagnosis. We have all had to take time off from our everyday lives and work, to be with her, taking turns to be her nurse, or having to get home care.
Mom has had to have numerous hospital transfers and other unexpected medical expenses that are not covered under her Medical Plan.
As one can imagine, we are living day to day at this point. Mom, Dad, and us 5 Children. It has brought devastation and shock to our Very Faithful Family.
Is has been a very difficult time for us not only Emotionally but put a strain on our Lives Every way Possible.
At this point Mom is Here with us. She is fighting with Every will power and Many days even if she is unable to get up.
Mom we love you.
You are Our Everything. God Brought you on This Earth.
We will fight for you. We hope You will help us Fight for Our Mom.
