It has always been my dream to open a bakery. To make things from my heart and see the smile on people’s faces. To know that what I created, caused someone joy. From the time I was a little girl, I knew I wanted my very own place. And the time has come to get out of the corporate world and make my dream a reality!
Liberty Hill Bakery & Cafe is opening soon. I have been able to do a lot with the grace and kindness of friends and just crazy luck. But my team and I have incurred some debt trying to get things open and there are still a few purchases to make - so here I am; reaching out for help.
Liberty Hill is a small town that is revitalizing its downtown area. It is growing very quickly, with 35,000 new homes being built in the next five years. The building that we are moving into is old; either being built during the 1880s or 1900, it was once a pharmacy and recently updated in 2014. A bakery and cafe is very much needed in the downtown area!
My Facebook page is continually growing, receiving over 450 likes the first day! People are excited to have another option for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I will offer baked goods and grab-n-go options for those running to work and school. For lunch and dinner, we have sandwiches, salads, wraps and soups on the menu. There will also be a full coffee bar and kids eat for only $5! The website is up and running and has the full menu available to view.
My team brings over 20 years experience in the food industry so we understand what it takes to make a good product and be fair with our customers while being fair to the business. Personally, I have been in marketing for the past 20 years. With the merging of our talents, hard work, experience and dedication, we will be successful. We will offer seasonal specialties, catering, monthly events, holiday and special occasion celebrations; there are many ways to be the hub of downtown Liberty Hill and that’s what I strive to be.
I have set up five options for donations but of course, anything helps. I want to thank each and everyone of you for considering helping me live my dream.
$25 - You will receive a free baked good and a drink.
$50 - You will receive a Liberty Hill Bakery & Cafe coffee cup plus receive half off your coffee when you bring in the cup for a year.
$100 - You will receive your name on a plaque that will be displayed in the cafe plus your first meal is free.
$250 - You will receive your name on the plaque plus you and your guests will receive 10% off your entire meal for six visits.
$500 - You will receive your name on the plaque plus you and a guest will be invited to an exclusive thank-you reception during the first month we are open; date to be announced.
