Laura Garrett Breast Cancer Journey

Hi! My Name is Laura Garrett I am 29 years old, a loving mother of a 5 year old little boy and a wife of 4 years. I was diagnosed on March 16th 2015 with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma ( Breast Cancer) only 10% of diagnosed breast cancer patients have this form of cancer.  My new journey starts on April 9th 2015,  I will have a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, after four weeks of recovery I will start weekly chemo treatments.  My Insurance does not cover our local treatment facilities, resulting in weekly trips 3 hours away in Murray Ut for my treatments and follow up appointments. We will have to miss a great deal of work during my journy back and fourth for our trips. So this is what the money will go toward to help us, is our transportation, monthly bills and medical expenses that my insurance does not cover and time away from work not being able to make money to pay such bills. Cancer treatment is very expensive and not everything is coverd by our insurance so anything will help in this long journey in cancer land.
I am very blessed and ready to kick cancer in the butt!!!
