This is an extremely time sensitive plea I'm coming to you with today.
My very close friend Lezlie has had an extremely rough time lately. Among other issues, she is having surgery for the second time in two months on June 5th. Today, her car was reposessed due to an error the car company failed to inform her about for three months. After hours of trying to work things out, she was told that to get her car back she will have to pay $1,700, or her car will go to auction on Tuesday (May 30th).
So, the bottom line is that we only have a few days to raise this money, or she loses her car, which is her only method of transportation to get to work and everywhere else she needs to go.
Lezlie is an amazing and hard-working person, and even though life is throwing challenge after challenge her way, she is still doing her best to get through.
Despite finding her car taken from her place of work today, she still somehow managed to get to a doctor's appointment to go over her surgery today, and on top of that insisted on coming back to work and giving her all for her job.
Lezlie is an inspiration to me and I want to do my best to help her. So I'm coming to you for help. Any amount you can donate to this cause will go to helping a wonderful, sweet, dedicated woman get her car back so that she can keep coming to work and providing for herself.
