Leidy Ogando fighting Leukemia

Dear All,
    We are the Jimenez family and we have created this fundraiser to help our niece, Leidy Ogando, who has been recently diagnosed with leukemia.

   Leidy was diagnosed last week and we are devastated about this bad news. Leidy is a very strong woman who works very hard every day to support her family and to accomplish her goals in life. Leydi is 27 years old and has struggled throughout her life-- working two jobs to contribute to her household and to get a college education. A year ago she married a man who love her very much. Leidy and her husband were also expecting a baby earlier this year but due to her illness she miscarried.
 
     Leidy is an incredibly strong woman and is not looking down on her situation, but instead wants to fight for her life. She is teaching all of us a very good lesson because she is the one giving us strength.

     This week she would start the chemotherapy against leukemia in the Dominican Republic but due to the lack of medical capacity to treat this type of cancer, her doctors are trying to get her a visa to come to the United States for a bone marrow transplant.

    The expenses are very high and this is why we are asking for your help. We are very optimistic and we hope these treatments will help her fight this disease, and that God will help her overcome this situation.
   
    Your donation will be extremely helpful to pay for her chemotherapy and the surgery. Any contribution is gladly accepted, we hope you can be the one who helps Leidy fight this cancer and help her get back to fulfilling her dreams.

Saludos,    Somos la familia Jiménez y hemos creado esta cuenta para recaudar fondos que ayuden a  nuestra sobrina Leydi Ogando quien fue diagnosticada con leucemia.

  Es una situación un poco difícil para todos nosotros, porque Leydi siempre ha sido una mujer sana y  con muchas metas por delante. Estamos muy devastado por esta situación pero sabemos que con la ayuda de dios ella podrá salir adelante.

   Leydi es una joven de 27 años de edad y ha pasado por muchas vicisitudes a lo largo de su vida, trabajando mucho para contribuir a su casa y para tener una carrera universitaria.

  Hace un año se casó con el amor de su vida e iban a tener un bebé, no sabemos si la enfermad pudo haber sido una de las causa por la cual perdió a su hijo. Ella dice que son pruebas que dios le esta poniendo en su camino, y es ella misma quien nos fortalece con su valentía y ganas de vivir.

    Actualmente vive en la República Dominicana y ha sido diagnosticada con Leucemia, esta requiere tratamientos de quimioterapias y posterior a esto transplante de medula ósea ,sus médicos está tratando de conseguirle una visa para que sea tratada en los Estados Unidos porque los tratamientos requerido no se lo pueden ofrecen en la Republica Dominicana.
