Hi! My name is Lee and I am an artist/cartoonist. I run an illustrated art brand called Rad Robot and love to make silly fun things to make people laugh. I make alot of illustrations, cartoons and comics. But now with a tiny team I'm undertaking the project of making a full animated cartoon miniseries! So we're raising money to help make this happen!
This cartoon will be called Captain Chup and Leiutenant Lizard. The series follows an unlikely duo of a relatable perpetually anxious pilot and a seemingly brainless lizard who is always Macguyvering his way out of situations. These two are put into all sorts of catastrophic situations when they join their Mayors half hazard Space Program. Calamaty ensues.
Our strategy for this show is to first make a pilot(which is written) then 4 more episodes will follow. Each episode will run about 5 to 7 minutes with one episode premiering every month or every other month on Youtube! We are planning on having a rough version of the pilot drop either late September or early October with plenty of updates along the way.
Making a cartoon is a lot of work. I will be drawing, storyboarding, digitizing, and animating the entire project. On top of that, I will be working with my team to create and add audio, voice overs, etc. All of which I'm very excited for but it is going to take a lot.
That's where you come in! Making a cartoon takes alot of time and effort and I could greatly use your help. This project is a huge passion of mine and everyone involved and will take a lot of time and dedication. It will also be costly in general, so the funds that you donate will be used to help pay studio bills for where we are working out of, pay for certain equipment and programs, keep me and the people that will be working for me afloat, and of course the occasional coffee along the way.
