Hello everyone,Trina just finished the 5th chemo and was discharged today to recover at home to prepare for next round, shes very weak right now and sensitive coz of Chemo effect but we're expecting that she’ll l get energized in couple of weeks.,its been a tough battle for almost 5 months now but It seems that we’re winning the fight. The cancer is almost fully contained per the last scan results.but we still have more procedure to deal with to beat it totally. But ofcourse after the Good news there’s a Bad news,The bill is filing up so our out of pocket is sky racketed as well. This fundraising is huge help for us to settle the expenses. We couldn’t thank enough everyone for continuous support.Kim Nida is organizing a ride event as well on March 10,Check the MNS FB page for details and hoping everyone can Join .Ed
Hello everyone first I’d like to thank Jason for his help and spending his time to make this fundraising possible , then to all people who donated here and shop owners that donated items for our ride event today, a huge thank you. Just to update everyone here, My daughter Trina is fighting Hodgkin Lymphoma, it’s a form of blood cancer thats attacking the lymphatic system of our body, she just finished the 3rd session of chemo last week and she’s now trying to get her blood counts up to prepare for the next round and the doctors are estimating that her battle with cancer will be about 6 months. Some of us here are parents as well Family members or friend, we care dearly for our loveones and we protect them from harm, but there’s evil in this world thats beyond our control and one of those is cancer, Cancer is worse than a Criminal because he’s untouchable literally, the most scary moment for a father is to see his beloved daughter in misery trying to fight back to win the battle and the most painful part is I couldn’t do anything but to comfort her and pray hoping all the medicine works and hope doctors do their job right. The second part is the insulting medical bills, unimaginable that I couldn’t figure out how to settle. Truly Cancer sucks but with everyones help and support we are on a great momentum to keep going to win the fight. I felt blessed that so many friends and co-cyclist offered their support. This only shows that the Cycling community is not just a sport but it’s a family that caring each other. In behalf of Trina we thank you again for the love and we deeply appreciate your overwhelming support. Lets beat cancer and lets enjoy the ride.Ed
I just finished my second cycle of chemo and I’m about to get a bunch of tests so the doctors can tell me how many cycles more I need. The chemo worsened my neuropathy so I’m unable to use my hands. My doctor is planning to start my third cycle right after Christmas so that sucks. But i just wanna get everything over with. Huge thank you to everyone who has helped us out. It means the world to me. I think its easy to be unkind and so i thank you for having the courage to be the person you could be proud of. I am trying to do the same. God Bless and a million times thank you.
We will have a 50-mile ride and a silent auction on January 13th.
