Let’s help the Murphy’s rebuild

This is Karey, I’m Katey’s oldest sister. Thursday, November 8th is a day we will all remember if you are connected to Paradise, CA in any way. The horror that swept thru Paradise in the fire that was always talked about...blazed it’s way from the east side of Feather River Canyon, right into this charming mountain town. I’m sure most of you have seen the videos posted up as Dan and Katey maneuvered thru town to get to safety. But, what they didn’t tell you is that they literally had minutes to throw items into their RV and suv before leaving their home behind. Sam & Madelon left a few minutes ahead and at the end of their Fickett Lane they were met with flames already. The kids proceeded to get out of town as fast as they could. Dan and Katey pulled out behind them with their rv/Dan’s Pick up & Katey behind in her car with their 2 dogs and 1 of 3 cats . They were just a couple miles or so from home and had to leave the Truck and RV behind as they could not maneuver thru the caos that was happening around them . Fire fighters were hiding down vehicles as they were going thru intersections, because getting people out alive was more important than trying to save structures. They have lost everything, along with so many of their close friends. PRAYERS ANSWERED TODAY: They found a home for rent today. Their immediate insurance check is going to go to secure that home on Tuesday. But, they have nothing, and we all know how insurance companies work. It will be some time before they see any kind of money to start replacing their belongings. If you know Dan and Katey, they will help in any situation, at any time. So let’s help them out!
