Last Friday, one of our star premiership players LARA NAPIER was in a serious motorcycle accident.
Many of you would know Lara from AIS, nationals, WNBL, WABL training and being an amazing SBL TIGER player.
Lara is a great supporter of our kids and well loved in our club community. Lara is well known by her opponents and her teammates as a passionate, determined and driven ambassador basketballer for Willetton Tigers.
Lara has just finished a double degree in chemical engineering and extractive metallurgy, in which she achieved high honours.
Lara and her partner Mitchell, along with her family will be facing many challenges; one being her inability to travel to her newly appointed FIFO job. The severity of her injuries will keep her away from her job for up to 6mths +.
She will also need to move closer to Perth ( as she lives in the sticks), for medical reasons.
We are calling out to the basketball community to support Lara and her family in this time of need. Any donation, prayers and well wishes will be much appreciated.
