 Guilford, VT
Our dear Cynthia (Payne-Meyer) sustained a very serious injury to her cervical spine while on vacation in Maui in mid-April.  For more details about this story, please visit the Caring Bridge site set up in her name.

Costs for care will be extremely high.  We are setting a goal of just $5000 here on this site.  Please consider donating to Cynthia's recovery, no matter how small a gift you might be able to make.

If you live locally (Putney, Vermont) please check out  the planner set up on the Caring Bridge site, to help with meals, take part in fund raisers, etc.

Rod and Cynthia greatly appreciate the generosity of so many donors! While we have reached the goal of $10,000 in just over two weeks (wow!), we will keep this site up and running for anyone who has not yet had a chance to contribute and would like to.

Our goal of $10,000 was an arbitrary number, as it is impossible to know the full extent of financial need in a long-term recovery process.

Thank you, again, for all those who have offered their generous support to Rod and Cynthia!

In under four days we have exceeded our original goal of raising $5000 to aid Cynthia's recovery! With over $6000 already raised via GoFundMe, I have increased our goal on this site to $10,000.

Huge thanks go out to each and every person who has donated thus far, no matter the size of the gift. Please help spread the word so we can reach even more people who will want to help Cynthia recover from her accident in Maui. Remember to follow Caring Bridge for updates on Cynthia's recovery.

We are just $676 from reaching our initial fundraising goal for Cynthia! Heartfelt thanks go out to all of you who have donated these past couple of days.

Cynthia will be flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center tonight, arriving tomorrow afternoon. See Caring Bridge for some great news regarding her medical progress.

If you haven't yet donated to help Cynthia, please consider giving now. Any amount will help Cynthia on her way to a full recovery!
