Research is a vital part of what Imagine Our Florida, Inc. (IOF) has been working on. IOF has been presented with a unique opportunity to complete the groundwork before embarking on this new scientific approach to protecting our wildlife. Sustainable change always comes from science- based knowledge. Now you can be a part of that change.
For the first time ever, the International Society of Wildlife Endocrinology will hold it’s conference in Orlando.
Imagine Our Florida’s Director Aymee, who is advancing her degree in Wildlife Biology, will have the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with scientists from around the world who are working on leading-edge projects.
Once Aymee completes the conference, IOF will decide on the best grants and funding options to apply for which will allow us, under Aymee’s direction, to test the hormones and compile data to track stress levels of Florida’s iconic black bears and other wildlife. This groundbreaking research will help us in quantitative analysis of hormone data using the R language, software platforms and more.
Membership into the ISWE, convention, fees, taxes and hotel room for the 3-day convention is $1095.

Any donations not used for this convention will go into IOF’s general funds to continue our mission of protecting and preserving Florida’s natural resources, wildlife and land.
