LETS DO THIS FOR GRACE!

Donation protected
Grace (aged 43)  has been living with fibromyalgia / ME for 15+ years and whilst continuing to work and bring up her two children for as long as she was able, she is now in a position where she has been medically retired by doctors, unable to move from her bed, leave the house or even get downstairs.
She’s at a point in her illness where she’s unable to even attend hospital or doctors appointments which have often had to be cancelled due to being unable to move.
In the situation where she is having a better day, after washing, getting ready and getting downstairs to her wheelchair it takes it out of her to the point where she is unable to speak or function and needs to go back up to bed.

Grace has always put everyone else first, and still continues to do so, even when she has needed to put herself first. Now it is time for us to help her, we want to give grace a better quality of life. She really deserves to have what she would do for other people in her position!

It’s heartbreaking to see a person that puts everything into helping other people, suffer unnecessarily being stuck upstairs in an overcrowded bedroom because there aren’t the facilities in place to allow her a better quality of life.

Grace’s husband, carers, her 2 children and their partners do everything they can to enable Grace to live more comfortably but without the funds in place there’s only so much that can be done.

Despite all of this, she still has a smile on her face every single day and always sees the positives in everything!

Please help us raise some money, every penny towards this cause will help! We want to be able to improve the quality of life in which grace lives by moving her downstairs so that she is able to continue her day to day life with as much normality as possible!

These things include:

-moving grace downstairs to enable her to possibly get into the garden for fresh air / even answer the door to the post man for some social interaction!

-building a wet room downstairs as grace is unable to tackle the stairs 95% of the time.

-decorating the room so that grace is comfortable in her surroundings and feels happy in the environment.

-putting in place safety features to help prevent trips and falls and support walking where possible.

-essential maintenance to the house which would have been done if Grace was well enough.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and let’s raise what we can to help Grace!
